Located in Wheatland, Wyoming off I-25, the Peak Drive-In served Eastern Wyoming showing a large selection of movies, but Westerns often filled the marquee. Parking 267 cars it was opened in April 1953 and was operated by Jones & Borthwick. In 1955 it had been renamed Valley Drive-In and was operated by Gibraltar Enterprises Inc. It was run by T.R. Knox and Dick Ivy in 1956.
The Valley Drive-In was still open in 1968.

From the April 23, 1955 Motion Picture Herald:
Rialto Theatres Inc., Casper, Wyo., has bought the Knox drive-in, Wheatland, Wyo., from Ted Knox. Rialto also owns the Ramona in Wheatland.
Motion Picture Herald, April 11, 1953: “Wm. Jones and Don Borthwick will open a 250-car Peaks drive-in at Wheatland, Wyo., this month.”
Same drive-in? Boxoffice, August 1982: “Fred Kaysbier, who operates the Mesa Theatre and the Star Drive-In Theatre, Douglas, Wyoming has taken over the operation of the Cinema West Theatre and the Seven Flags Drive-In Theatre, Wheatland, Wyoming from the former owner Ed Thorne.”
Boxoffice, Aug. 29, 1953: “Ted Knox has bought out his partners, William Jones and Don Borthwick, at the Peak Drive-In, Wheatland, Wyo.”
