Built as the Geary Opera House. The Liberty Theatre was opened on May 13, 1926. By 1935 it had been renamed Broadway Theatre and operated into the 1940’s. By 1950 it had been renamed Geary Theatre and was still open in 1964.

I found a Liberty in 1930 and Broadway 1935-1940?

Need an address, more info and photos.

Life started out for the Liberty Theatre as the Geary Opera House. See a 1908 picture of this theatre by typing in “geary opera house” under match all words.
