Nearby Theaters
Billboard magazine, June 13, 1953 lists the Spire Drive-In as opening on May 30, 1953. According to the listing, it had a capacity for 250 cars and was owned by Joseph Fleischhaker.
The theater did not last long, as Box Office Magazine in 1960 indicates that it was on the dismantling list.

Apparently located North of the town on M-65 near where Thomson’s Storage is today.
A closer address is 6998 M-65, Hale, MI.
This puts its on the location of Thomson’s Storage. I can’t say 100% this was the location, but it does have the general shape and hints of ramps.
