The Lucerne Theatre was operating up until the 1920’s. After closing and until the 1970’s it was used as a business block, shopping arcade and warehouse.

This was actually on S Court Ave, on the east side between Pine & church streets, kind of in the middle. Don’t know how to edit the map.

The Lucerne Theatre first opened softly on December 2, 1911 with a few movies, but had its official grand opening on January 4, 1912 with a live presentation of “The Third Degree”. During the 1920s and 1930s, it was used as a special events venue.
