This theatre was operated by Loews Theatres, it was due to open on December 15, 1989 but this was cancelled and it finally opened on May 25, 1990. It was located in the Pentagon City Mall. Seating was provided for 1,775, with 180 in screen 1, 531 in screen 2, 354 in screen 3, 356 in screen 4, 174 in screen 5 and 180 in screen 6.
It was closed on January 1, 2003 and replaced by a Forever 21 clothing store. The theatre was unable to be converted to stadium seating since it was located in the basement of the mall and the roof heights were a little bit lower than typical theatres. It was in a competitive zone with Regal Potomac Yards 16. It had six screens each with a different name (similar to AMC Union Station 9). Also differentiating itself from other locations there were several different designs in each auditorium. For example there were different surround speakers used in multiple auditoriums, different wall covering, and different colored seats.
