GCC opened the River Ridge IV in 1980. Carmike took over operations in January 1994 through 2009. This cinema closed in 2009 when Regal opened their 14 screen modern cinema River Ridge Stadium 14 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

Carmike acquired this in January of 1994.
The River Ridge I-II-III-IV opened its doors on October 3, 1980 by General Cinema, who operated the theater for more than 13 years until Carmike’s takeover in January 1994. It was closed on October 8, 2009.
