Opened or placed its first ads as the Delicias theatre in 1934 and closed in 1958. It reopened as the Rex Cinema on August 19th, 1965. Grand opening ad posted.

This theater was originally named the Delicias and was owned by Pedro Armenteros, the owner of the Riviera on Loiza St.
