Marlbro Drive-In Grand Opening

Built on the site of the 4-Lane Drive-In (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Marbro Drive-In was opened July 22, 1966 with Sean Connery in “Thunderball”. It was operated by Martin Theatres and closed in 1985.

This opened on July 22nd, 1966 with “Thunderball”. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

Correction: This is located at 2121 Battlefield Pkwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Battlefield did not exist when the theater was open. Hwy 41/NE Broad St. is further south.
