Cinema West Theatres opened the 1,700-seat Civic Plaza 12 on December 14, 2012. Their premiere attraction was “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey", which screened at midnight.
The Henry Architects designed the complex, which has all-digital projection, two 60-foot IMAX screens and D-Box motion seating.
Reserved seating is available at the cinema, which serves alcoholic beverages and has one stage available to the community for live performances.
