What’s really strange about its grand opening is that a parachutist from nearby Fort Benning parachuted from the sky while carrying an entire 35mm print of “Oliver and Company” in his hands, right at the nick of time of opening.

The Carmike 7 opened on November 18th, 1988, and closed on November 4th, 2003 as a discount cinema. Grand opening ad posted.

It looks really good from the outside the church is taking real good care of it trying to go in it post some pics

The screens are still up as well as the chairs. A church uses it now
