Pal Amusements opened the Brice Cinema on July 17, 1969 with Rock Hudson in “Ice Station Zebra”. It was a 570-seat single-screener measuring 9,425 square-feet (65x145ft), featuring four-channel stereo sound and a concession stand measuring 35 feet. The theater was built by Charles Clifton, and was opened by Mitchell F. Brice’s son, Mitchell Brice Jr., who named the theater after his father as a tribute.
