Early `50’s photo and copy added credit Mike Isenberg. The only Taxi in Cave City, KY. (1935 Chevrolet Master Deluxe)
No theaters at all on the 1919 map. Probably on the west side at the north end, and thus demolished. It could have been in one of the buildings on the east side just north or south of Davis Alley, since those have had the storefronts filled in. Broadway is called Kirtley on older maps.
The Ace was at 203 Broadway. Building still there, recently remodeled and a small neon sign added noting that it was the Ace. Building looks to be from the ‘30s.
This opened in 1933, although I cannot find its grand opening date. In 1947, it was renamed the Ace-Park Theatre. Unfortunately I cannot find its closing date, but did close during the early-1950s.
