Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre was opened around 1936 on Baltimore Street at the corner of East Middle Street. By 1941 it was operated by Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp. It was still open in 1950.

The Photoplay Theatre opened in Fall 1912 and was renamed the Strand Theatre in August 1925. It was closed on November 4, 1956 with “Apache” and “Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein”.
