The Verdi Theatre was opened in 1914. It seated 300 and by 1926 it was operated by the Finkelstein & Ruben chain. It was closed in 1929. It reopened in 1930 as the Little Theatre but soon closed in 1931.
The site is now occupied by an insurance office & restaurant.
