Really thanks Kevin. Also please update information that this theater is not stadium seating.
November 5th, 1993 grand opening ad as well as the July 15th, 1994 grand opening for 14 screens. To Regal Cinemas in 1995.
The theater will be going through a complete renovation starting in October. They are putting recliners in all theater ,plus a new digital sound and projection system and new screens. This theater is very well run and has great staff working there.
Theaters 1-7 have been closed the past few weeks for renovation and installation of the recliners. Once they finish these 7 they will close theater 8-14. All theaters will become reserved seats. Not really sure how I feel about this. This chain is a first class chain.
The theater has been fully renovated with luxury recliners in all theaters and reserved seating. The only thing Cinemark didn’t do yet is put in new screens. they have a new digital projection and sound system. Please update in the above synopsis.
As of 2023, Cinemark has turned the multiplex into their dine-in “bistro” concept, as its now called “Cinemark Bistro at The Carolina Asheville”.
The name has changed but nothing else has. I was there Saturday night and I just talked to the GM who said it’s in name only.
Temporarily closed due to no water and power from Hurricane Helene
