Opened as the Auditorium Theatre prior to 1926. It closed in 1934 and reopened as the Elgin Theatre in 1937. The theatre seated 225. It was closed on March 2, 1954.

It was replaced by the new-buid Carson Theatre which opened on May 14, 1954.
