The Richey Theatre opened in 1935. The theatre replaced the Gem Theatre which was a silent house. The new theatre was wired with a RCA Sound System. The Richey Theatre seated 150 and was listed as closed in 1956.

The building was still standing in 2009, but was demolished in 2015.

You can still see this theatre in the 2009 Google Street View, but it was demolished in 2015.

Boxoffice, Dec. 2, 1950: “Richey, Mont. - The Richet Theatre here has been reopened under the management of Harold Goulding.”

Suffered very small damage by a projection room fire on December 15, 1946 during a showing of “Along Came Jones” (unknown if extras added) which destroyed 200ft of film.
