The Middleton Theatre was opened on November 23, 1940 with Jack Benny in “Buck Benny Rides Again”. It was taken over by new operators on August 1, 1941 and renamed Forsyth Theatre. The theatre seated 250 and was closed in December 1977.

Cecil Middleton opens the Middleton Theatre in the Yenat Building on November 23, 1940 with “Buck Benny Rides Again.” On Aug. 1, 1941, new operators changed its name to the Forsyth Theatre. Regular operation ceased in December of 1977.
