Located in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire at the junction of Thorpe End and Saxby Road. The Pavilion Theatre opened in March 1912. It was in a conversion of a cart shed and storeroom for Langton’s Brewery which had been converted into a music hall in 1911.
It was later re-named Picture Palace, and variety acts were still part of the programme of films. The Picture Palace was closed in 1921, unable to compete with the newly built Picture House in the town.
The building went into other uses, and since at least 1999 was occupied by CWG (Central Wool Growers Ltd.). In 2014 it was a furniture store. By March 2017 the building was vacant. It has since been converted into residential use by 2025.

On out visit in March 2017, the building was unoccupied
Seems to have been converted into a house - it is not immediately recognisable now as a former theatre.
