The 65 Drive-In was located on the south side of Conway and sat on the east side of Highway 65. It was opened on March 29, 1951 with Joel McCrea in “Outriders”. It was operated by C.J. Collier.
The 65 Drive-In was owned by UA Theaters at one point, lasting until at least the early-1980’s. It was closed on September 1, 1985 screening adult movies. The day before closing its final regular movies were Eddie Murphy in “Beverley Hills Cop” & Nick Nolte in “48 Hours”. It was later demolished.
Today, the property is the site of an industrial park with no trace of the drive-in remaining.

Actual closing date is September 1, 1985 with a one-day sexploitation show (which is a very stupid decision to close a drive-in), but its final normal show was one day prior on August 31, 1985 with “Beverly Hills Cop” and “48 Hours”.
