UGC Champs-Elysees

Located on the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees in the north of the city centre. The Cine-Elysees Actualites was opened as a newsreel cinema in 1936. By 1942 it was playing feature films.

It was taken over by UGC in 1981 and was closed on 15th January 2002. It became retail use. By 2025 it was office space for Piuge perfume.

says it opened on April 23rd, 1936 at 7 pm as a newsreel theatre. English-language movies after the war. It was renovented in 1957. It was renamed in September 1981 as UGC Champs-Élysée. Closed on January 15th, 2002 due to high rent. The link has a long history of the cinema.
