Aerial photos show the drive-in was still intact in 1975 but had been razed by 1986. Its boundary walls appeared unusually tall; was that the reason it was named the Fortress?
The Google Maps address of 15 Alec Roy Rd is reasonably close to where the drive-in had been.
Okay. Here we go…I uploaded an aerial from 2015 that shows the location of the DI. You can just make the ramps out. Alec Roy Rd and 11th Ave E Roundup, MT 59072 is the correct address and the best one to use with Goggle maps at times. It will put it at the street intersection where the DI was located at.
