The Olympic Twin Drive-In(named because it was built near where the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics athletes village was located) opened in 1964. Name changed when the Northland Shopping Centre was built across the road and in 1970 when it was taken over by Village Theatres. The drive-in closed around 1987, a few months before the new Hoyts Northland multiplex opened across the road. The site was demolished(date unknown?), and is now a Homemaker centre.
