The Riverside Theatre opened as part of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in August 2004. Riverside Theatre sometimes shows films with the music played live by the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra. Unknown when the first film was shown? I think the first film shown was “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”?
