The Glideaway Gardens and skating rink(roller?). opened in 1909. Renamed Lyric Gardens on 23rd October 1913. The gardens opened between the Mechanics Institute and the A.W.U(Australian Workers Union?) Hall. Unknown if the Gardens are still there, or what is there(if anything?).
