Originally located in what was known as Osseo, now Brooklyn Center. The Starlite Drive-In was opened on May 12, 1949 with Yvonne De Carlo in “Black Bart”. By 1955 it was operated by Minnesota Entertainment Enterprises Inc. It was closed on September 20, 1981 with Betsy Palmer in “Friday the 13th, Betsy Palmer in "Friday the 13th Part 2” & Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong in “Up in Smoke”. Now a shopping center.
