If Google Maps is to believed, the old Redwood site is within the Rohnert Park city limits today. The address of the Walmart that sits where the back of its viewing field has been is 4625 Redwood Dr, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
Boxoffice, July 3, 1954: “SANTA ROSA, CALIF. – Philip Zenovich, owner of the State Theatre at Petaluma, Calif., has purchased the Redwood Drive-In here from G. E. Burnette and Alfred Truslow jr., who built the airer in 1947. Zenovich said that he will revamp the 18-acre site to include a picnic area and a children’s playground.”
Grand opening features were “The Fabulous Dorseys” and “Son Of Lassie”. Final night of operation was July 16, 1986 with “American Anthem” and “Cobra”.
