The Pal Theatre was opened by October 1947. It was still open in 1957. The marquee & signwere still on the building in February 2008, but had been removed by April 2014.

Pal Theater was located at 331 South Railroad Avenue in Mount Vernon, Georgia. Local history and community memories note that the vintage structure on Railroad Avenue served as a popular local hangout and movie house in past decades, but it is no longer operating as an active theater.
2008 Streetview still has the marquee up. Bad remodel, and now it’s just a box.
