There were two drive-ins theatres in Stanton,TX

The Buffalo DI was located at TX-137 & Co Rd 2300, Stanton, TX

The Ford DI was located under I-20 & TX-137

By 1965 both DI’s were gone.

A closer location is 2347 TX-137, Stanton, TX.

This puts it right at the entrance to where the drive-in used to be. It sat on the west side of TX-137.

A 1957 aerial shows the outline, ramps, and projection booth, but no screen. Which means if it opened in 1952, it had clearly closed well before 1957.

By 1984, everything had been demolished and the land plowed over which removed all traces of the drive-in.

Today, the land appears to be used for farming with irrigation tanks next to the highway.
