The Shoo-Fly Drive-In was opened in August 1949 and was operated by Don King. It was a short-lived venture as it had closed by 1950, possibly only operating for one season.
In 1950 Harry Fast opened his Drive-In in Winner, which still operates in 2020 as the Winner Drive-In. (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures.)

The Sept. 17, 1949 issue of BoxOffice reported, “WINNER, S. D. – The Shoo-Fly Drive-In was opened here recently by owner Don King with Mrs. William Whitford as manager.”
