Actual closing date is February 24, 2000.

Please update, theatre closed on February 24, 2000, it was a discount house, please rename Loews Cineplex Presidio Square

Grand opening ad (of Cineplex Odeon design):

Cineplex Odeon kept the Plitt branding in the USA as there is another theatre chain in Texas called Cineplex. Cineplex Corporation went bankrupt in October 5th. Cineplex Corporation bankruptcy 06 Oct 1986, Mon The Houston Chronicle (Houston, Texas) Newspapers.com

I don’t, but based on the outside of the theatre it looks very similar to the Waco Square Cinemas.

I don’t believe I ever went to this theater but it still looks like one I would have enjoyed.
