The 22nd Avenue Theatre was a neighborhood silent movie venue in Denver which played Mutual Studio films. It promised no vaudeville and no “State Right” pictures. The 22nd Avenue Theatre opened in 1913 and had at least five operators in James Light, Winthrop Bowles, C. C. Priest, Charlie Kreiling and Paul Shallack, who is the last known operator in 1918. It did not survive into the sound period and the building was demolished.
