This theater is no longer affiliated with the Hollywood Boulevard Theater in Woodridge. It’s now owned by the Star Cinema Grill Company.

Unfortunately, this theater hasn’t had any events in several years. COVID played a part, however, they didn’t have any events for a year or so before it. It seems like they’re focused on showing current movies now.

Ted Bulthaup is no longer the owner of Hollywood Palms or Hollywood Boulevard; they are now owned and operated by separate companies, but both have kept the names, the dine-in theater model and the affinity for celebrating Classic Hollywood.

If it opened in 1992, did it have the famous Cineplex-Odeon designs, such as the zig-zags?

Sounds great. I’ll have to try it once they re-open.

It should now be listed as “closed/renovating”. Per Nova’s website, it will re-open as a Hollywood Boulevard.

It’s still open. Tomorrow they’re opening “Dragon Wars”, while they still have “3:10 to Yuma” & “Halloween” to name a few.

Rivest’s website says that this place is closed. Is that true?

Is this theatre chain part of (or owned by) the Reynolds chain? Nova is on Reynolds’s website.
