The January 9, 1954 Motion Picture Herald noted “A. M. Randall closed the Fern drive-in, Woodville, Miss. on December 24, 1953 until further notice”. Sounds like it was closed for the season.
The 1955-56 Theatre Catalog listed the Fern Drive-In with a capacity of 300, owner Al Randall. Its first appearance in the Motion Picture Almanacs was the 1953-54 edition, capacity 300, owner A. Randall. It stayed that way through the 1976 edition, its last appearance.
The Fern Drive-In was listed in at least the 1960-63 editions of the Film Daily Year Book.

Found It!
The drive-in was located at 3655 MS-24, Woodville, MS. About two miles east of the town along the north side of the highway.
Today, the property is totally overgrown with trees with no trace of the drive-in remaining save for a faint outline.
