Cine Teatro Cobián

Located at the corner of Calle Alberto Ricci & Calle Reimundo Fernandez. The Cine Teatro Cobian was opened as a cinema on August 31, 1946 with Sonja Henie in “It’s a Pleasure” (Romance y Fantasia). It was operated by the Cobian Theatres Inc. chain. It was closed and abandoned in the early-1990’s. In February 2014 plans were proposed to restore and refurbish it, to become a cinema, cafe and community place. The building remains bricked up in 2025.
