The Oklah Airdome was designed as the summer presentation space during the warm months that the Oklah Theatre might struggle without air conditioning. The Airdome launched May 9, 1909. In 1916, the Oklah Theatre improved ventilation and the Airdome was not opened for the season with the space converted. The last date of operation appears to be July 31, 1915.
