Homer J. Williams built the diminutive Pix Theatre on the Grenada Public Square launching it March 15, 1940. It was part of a small circuit of about a dozen theaters operated by Williams under the Grenada Theatres Circuit banner. The Pix Theatre was still open in 1957.
