Tiny Endicott, Nebraska, was home to its own drive-in theatre in 1954. Veteran theatre operator Dale Swartz built a permanent screen and a brick projection booth with 35mm projection two miles west of Endicott on the Ellis Cook property. Swartz used Endicott Bricks in its construction. Swartz launched his Skylite Drive-In on July 18, 1954 with the film, “Red Skies of Montana” with Richard Widmark. The season ended on October 16, 1954 with “Here Come the Girls” with Bob Hope. It’s not clear if the ozoner reopened.
