The Mason Cinema of 1975-1985 was located at 3989 US-42, Lebanon, OH 45036. If you Google map that address, you will see the building is still there. I was there many times as a kid. Song of the South, Tron, Christine, The Karate Kid, The Terminator, and The Breakfast Club are a few movies I remember seeing there
Address is 202 W Main Street. The theatre has been repurposed as a pizza restaurant called Two Cities. The old name Mason can clearly be seen at the top of the structure on Google Street View.
The Mason Cinema was destroyed by a tornado during the April 3, 1974 Super Outbreak. Owner Woodrow Wilson (of course not the president) reopened the Mason Cinema on December 26, 1975. Mason Community Players Inc. moved into the theater building in November 1984, but the Mason Cinema continued to show movies alongside performing arts.
