The Starlite Drive-In was opened on June 1, 1952 with George Bernard in “Gobs and Gals”. Costing $85,000 it was operated by Robert Lowrey. It was equipped with RCA speakers and the screen was 54ft x 40ft. By 1955 when it closed, it was operated by Malco Theatres.

Robert Lowery launched the Starlite Drive-In on East Nettleton Avenue on June 1, 1952 with “Gobs and Gals.”
I do not see any drive-in along East Nettleton Avenue in a 1957 aerial. The Indian Drive-In does appear in a 1976 aerial and it was located along East Nettleton Avenue, but that property was vacant in 1957.
Is there more information on where this drive-in was located?
Listings for this drive-in ended in 1955. Another drive-in (Indian DI) on East Nettleton opened in 1969 and closed in 1971. The Grand opening ad gives Hwy 63 South as its location.

The address is 3009 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR.
A 1957 aerial shows the drive-in intact, but looking closed. It had a long entrance & exit road that connected to E Nettleton Avenue.
Today, the entire property has radically changed. Most of where the drive-in once sat is now a housing edition. The area around the entrance/exit roads is now a strip mall.
There is no trace of the drive-in remaining.
