The Storm Theatre was opened by 1927. After remodeling in early-August 1937, the theatre reopened on August 29, 1937 with Dick Powell in “The Singing Marine” along with a short entitled “Bedtime Vaudeville” and the Merrie Melodies cartoon “He Was Her Man”. By 1950 it was operated by Syndicate Theaters Inc.
After almost 30 years as the Storm Theatre, it closed for the final time in early-1956.
On June 20, 1958, the owner of the theatre would later consider any reasonable offer.
