The first Colfax Theatre was listed in Film Daily Year Book 1926 with 250 seats and at this location on Sanborn Maps, 1930. It was destroyed by fire on September 11, 1939.
In 1939 a new Colfax Theatre was operating on Main Street with 394-seats (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
