This theater appears on the January 1913 Sanborn, in the westernmost storefront of a very old two-story brick commercial block that likely dates from the 1870’s. The 1902 map shows a harness shop here. (It may have been named Iris Theatre?)
In what is likely a case of taking the space you can get, this section of the building is actually not nearly as deep as the other three. This theater closed sometime in 1929, and was replaced by a new theater across the street.
The building is in decent shape, although this section has an unattractive shingle awning and a rather odd fill of the storefront. It seems to be an apartment.

This would be a guess but this may have been the Postville Opera House which stopped advertising in the early 1910s but then the Postville Theatre begins advertising in 1913. The venue is closed for remodeling and reopens on February 27, 1915. In other towns, this would have been to relocate from the upper to the main floor or to rake the floor. Here, a raised floor added 30 inches of height in the back of the auditorium and an additional 16 feet was added to the north end of the ticket booth. A less unsafe projection area was placed in the theatre - but far from fireproof at that point.
The Postville Theatre appears to have closed with “All Quiet on the Western Front” on December 3, 1930. The Iris Theatre opened across the street to continue movie service for Manager Palmer .The Thoma Café and Sanders Style Shop took over in the Postville Theatre building in April of 1931.
