The March 10, 1969 issue of Boxoffice reported that Jerry Hickerson and Bernard Elseth had purchased a tract of land in Fairfax Township and planned to build the Saturn Drive-In, with a tentative opening date of June 1.
The Saturn Drive-In was listed for sale in the November 25, 1974 Boxoffice, “250 car capacity, like new condition. Located at Crookston, Minnesota”.
On August 9, 1976, Boxoffice reported that Hickerson had sold the Saturn’s land to a developer and had dismantled the drive-in.
