The Hafa Adai Theater opened as a single screen theater on March 3, 1972 with Florence Henderson in “Song of Norway”. It was operated by Universal Pacific Corp. Two more screens were added in January 1973. By 1999 another two screens had been added. Still open as late as the year 2000, it was closed on January 30, 2005.
