The 3-screen UA The Movies at Cottage Grove opened on June 27, 1975 with the Walt Disney animated feature “Bambi”, Burt Reynolds in “W. W. and the Dixie Dancekings” & Barbra Streisand in “Funny Lady”. It was later renamed Cottage Grove Theatre after it went to Cinemaland and Mann Theatres MN and closed in 2000.
