The Airdome Theatre is a very short-lived airdome in Portsmouth, opening its doors on May 10, 1909 on Crawford Street, located close to the intersection of Crawford Street and High Street in downtown Portsmouth. It opened with a few unnamed films and several vaudeville acts under the management of Allen & Kenna Amusement Company.

Some of those opening acts include Hayes and Graham, a singing and dancing minstrel act all covered in blackface, a musical act by Flora Esmond, and a special live performance by the Weber Family, a family act of seven, who were then the world’s greatest acrobats. They previously did a show there at the Y.M.A. Minstrels in Norfolk beforehand.

Unfortunately, the Airdome Theatre operated only for several months, and closed later in 1909.
