Theater

This theater appears on the 1912 Sanborn. It was located in a very old one story stone storefront, constructed sometime before 1885. The 1905 map shows a grocery here.

No later maps are available online, and this may have been either the Rio Vista Theatre or the Imperial Theatre, both of which are listed in the 1914-15 AMPD.

At some point, this was returned to retail use. It currently has a very drab postwar facade, and is used as a thrift store for the local arts center.
