UGC Toulouse

A new cinema in Toulouse! Two years after the opening of the Utopia in Borderouge, a new complex will open southeast of Toulouse, near Montaudran. And not just any old cinema! This is the grand return of the UGC.

These three letters speak to the people of Toulouse, who knew this cinema for 43 years, from 1976 to June 2019, on the Allées Roosevelt, in Jean-Jaurès, almost opposite the Gaumont. The UGC, which itself had taken the place of the Variétés cinema.

Two years later in 2021, the UGC is rising from the ashes by relocating. “But it’s not a move, it’s truly a new project”. Successfully opening a new cinema in the current context is a real challenge!” insists Benoît Dubost, director of UGC Montaudran. The UGC, with a total surface area of ​​5,200 m2, is equipped with seven rooms and 1,330 seats, including 36 for people with reduced mobility.
