Built in 1908 as the city hall, this modest two story brick structure contained an auditorium at the rear. It’s unclear when films began to be shown here, but the theater is listed in the 1931 Yearbook as a silent theater. It is listed as closed in 1932.
This tiny farm town has dwindled from over 400 people to around 100, and this building sits vacant all year, with brief use during a 3 day fair.
